Man wanted in connection with Juniata Park homicide

PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) — The Philadelphia Police Department is asking for the public’s help to find a man wanted in connection with a homicide.

Deiby Rivera Gonzalez, 56, is wanted. He was last seen driving a maroon 2017 Toyota Highlander, according to police.

A double shooting occurred Wednesday morning just before 9:30 a.m. on the 1500 block of East Luzerne Street. When officers got to the scene, police said they found two victims: a 38-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman.

Both victims were rushed to Temple University Hospital. The 38-year-old man was placed in critical condition. The 33-year-old woman, now identified as Jaylisa Quinones-Pinet, was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The Philadelphia Police Department believes the motive was domestic. No arrests have been made so far.
