The grand opening of the San Jose outlet store comes at a time when Goodwill is shutting down 11 locations in the San Francisco Bay Area, along with its San Francisco headquarters.
A ribbon cutting ceremony is set for 10 a.m. on Friday with local leaders expected in attendance.
