Woman steals over $1K from front porch in Madera, police say

MADERA, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A woman is wanted after allegedly stealing a package worth hundreds of dollars from the front porch of a home in Madera, the city’s police department said Wednesday.

Officers say the woman was captured on surveillance video committing the theft from the front porch of the home.

Police reported that the contents of the package were valued at more than $1,000. Images from the surveillance video show a woman with dark hair, dark clothing and blue jeans taking the package.
