We will start Thursday with a weakening cluster of storms, moving in from the west. Most of this activity fades out before reaching our area, but we could see a few storms on the western side of the area through the morning.
Otherwise, the rest of Thursday looks fairly quiet on the South Shore with just isolated showers. North of Interstate 12 there will be a better chance of showers and storms late in the day. Temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s.
On Friday, the frontal boundary is approaching, but it still looks like a relatively low rain chance through much of the day with temperatures in the mid 80s. Look for a few hit or miss showers through the afternoon with rain chances increasing after sunset into Friday night.
As that system continues to move into the area, look for hit or miss activity through the day on Saturday. Saturday will be the day with the most widespread rain chance, although likely not an all day wash out. At this point, we may actually see the front move through for some lower humidity on Sunday.
