Yazoo City police said U.S. Marshals arrested Eric Shinall, Jr., on April 24.

The incident occurred in the 1100 block of Jackson Avenue on December 17, 2024.

Yazoo City police previously announced that Azarion Hatcher was charged with home invasion, robbery, kidnapping, carjacking and the capital murder of Knox.

Police said they received assistance from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), and Hatcher was arrested with assistance from Jackson police.

According to police, officers and the FBI determined that three others were involved in the case. They said two suspects, who have not been identified, were in custody. Their charges include capital murder, carjacking, aggravated assault and two counts of kidnapping.
