Deputies say alleged meth traffickers were arrested at an Owensboro motel
HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) — Two suspects are in custody following an investigation into methamphetamine at an Owensboro motel.

A release obtained by Eyewitness News says the sheriff’s office conducted several undercover controlled drug buys from multiple suspects living at the Cadillac Motel in Owensboro.

The release goes on to say that two were arrested Wednesday on several drug trafficking related charges. During the controlled buys, detectives seized synthetic marijuana (spice), methamphetamine, prescription pills, baggies, U.S. currency, digital scales, glass smoking pipes, paraphernalia, and a loaded handgun that had been reported as stolen. Officials say two small children were discovered to be living in an apartment, were able to access drugs that were kept unsecured.

  • Possession of a controlled substance
  • Possession of a handgun by a convicted felon
