ROY, Utah (ABC4) — An elderly woman is in the hospital after she was hit by a car while crossing the street in Roy, according to officials. The driver of the vehicle that struck her has not yet been found.
The woman, aged 77, was crossing the street at 2350 W 4400 S just before 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Roy City Police told ABC4.com. Officials said the victim was taken to a local hospital in stable but critical condition.
Witnesses reported that the involved car was white and may be an Audi. The vehicle is suspected to have damage to its grill and the front passenger side of the vehicle.
Police are asking for information from anyone who may have details on the incident.
