Officer-involved shooting in Bossier, Louisiana State Police investigates

BOSSIER CITY, La. (KTAL/KMSS) – Early this morning, at approximately 12:30 a.m., detectives with the Louisiana State Police Bureau of Investigations were requested by the Bossier City Police Department to investigate an officer-involved shooting that occurred on Venecia Drive in Bossier City.

According to a release from LSP, one subject was shot and has been transported to a local hospital for treatment.

No officers were harmed during the incident.
