However, this summer, a slightly different event is taking place: a rave.
The third annual Rattleship rave is coming back to the USS Hornet in Alameda, event organizers Brownies & Lemonade announced Tuesday. This year’s event will take place on Friday, July 25 inside the aircraft carrier.
The rave will be held inside the ship where the USS Hornet museum is. The indoor venue can hold up to 3,000 people, according to the USS Hornet’s website.
The headliners have not been announced as Brownies & Lemonade has traditionally kept the show’s lineup a secret — only dropping hints leading up to the show of who the artist(s) will be.
Last year, RL Grime, alongside Juelz, headlined the event. In 2024, Rattleship was a two-day event on July 12 and 13 (Friday and Saturday). Tickets to the two shows last year sold out in less than an hour, Brownies & Lemonade told KRON4.
Tickets for the 2025 event go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 9 at 10 a.m. PT. Presale begins on Wednesday, May 7 at 10 a.m., and potential attendees can text “RATTLESHIP” to 323-332-1651 for a presale code. Event organizers are also giving away backstage VIP passes.
More information about tickets and the giveaway can be seen on Brownies & Lemonade’s Instagram post.
