ISP: Daleville man preliminarily charged with child porn possession

DALEVILLE, Ind. — A search of a home in Daleville led to a man being arrested on preliminary charges of child pornography possession, according to a news release from the Indiana State Police.

On Wednesday, 78-year-old Michael Morrow, a Daleville resident, was preliminarily charged with:

• One count of possession of child pornography, a Level 5 felony
• One count of possession of child pornography where it depicts a child under 12 years old, a Level 4 felony

The release said that multiple law enforcement agencies served a search warrant at a home in the 6500 block of South County Road 800 West in Daleville. Officials said this followed a “lengthy investigation” into Morrow.

Detectives from the Indiana State Police’s internet crimes against children unit began the investigation against Morrow in August 2024. The release said that they received cybertips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

The law enforcement agencies involved in this investigation included:

• Indiana State Police’s internet crimes against children unit
• Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department’s internet crimes against children unit
• ISP’s digital forensics unit
• ISP troopers from the Pendleton district.
