BARNWELL, S.C. (WJBF) – South Carolina State Parks and Kids in Parks celebrated the grand opening of a new TRACK Trail at Barnwell State Park on Wednesday, April 30.
TRACK Trails are self-guided trails designed for kids and families, and there are more than 300 throughout the country.
Barnwell’s new TRACK Trail adventures features the park’s ecology, with four hikes focused on trees, pond life, relationships in nature and birds.
The TRACK was funded from support from BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Foundation and Diabetes Free SC,.
Admission to Barnwell State Park and the TRACK Trail is free.
