As Keizer Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives investigate the April 22 burglary from the Coat of Arms dealership, the ATF is offering an award of up to $1,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the burglary.
That award is being matched by the National Shooting Sports Foundation — a gun industry trade organization — for an award total of up to $3,000.
“These firearms and suppressor are most likely still in the Keizer area,” said ATF Seattle Special Agent in Charge Jonathan Blais. “They are in the hands of criminals and, until recovered, are a danger to the community. We hope that anyone with information contacts ATF or the Keizer Police Department so we can get these off the streets.”
According to the ATF, surveillance video showed two people at the dealership at the time of the burglary, believed to be a man and a woman.
Keizer police declined to share details on the stolen firearms because of the ongoing investigation.
Anyone with information about the burglary is asked to contact ATF or the Keizer Police Department.
