With graduations coming up, LPSS reminds visitors of security measures
LAFAYETTE, La. (KLFY) — With graduations and other end-of-school-year events on the horizon, the Lafayette Parish School System is reminding attendees that the district has security measures in place at all school properties.
“Safety is one of LPSS’s core values, and we remain committed to maintaining secure and welcoming environments as we honor our students’ hard work and achievements,” LPSS said, in a news release.
LPSS said its clear bag policy will be strictly enforced, and that weapons detection systems will be in place at the entrances of all event venues. See the clear bag policy below.
