SUV catches fire after being struck by lightning on I-69, fire dept. says
DELAWARE COUNTY, Ind. — Fire crews from Yorktown and Gaston found a flaming SUV on Interstate 69. The vehicle allegedly caught fire after being struck by lightning.

According to the Yorktown Fire Department, fire crews were dispatched on Tuesday morning to mile marker 241 on I-69. Firefighters arrived on scene and found an SUV heavily on fire.

Crews were able to extinguish the fire. No injuries were reported.

Authorities said the SUV was struck by lightning while driving on the interstate.
