Preliminary 2.7M quake rumbles in North Bay Tuesday
(KRON) — A preliminary 2.7-magnitude earthquake struck in Napa County early Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. The epicenter was 2.9 miles southwest of Oakville and 7.9 miles north of Sonoma.
The tremblor occurred at 4:41 a.m., USGS said. Dozens of people reported feeling moderate shaking in the surrounding region, according to USGS’s “Did You Feel It?” survey.
There were no initial reports of damages or injuries.
