While the team had an off day, members of the Phillies front office hosted the fun for participants from Best Buddies, an international nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and creating career opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The group of students at the Bank were from Saint Katherine Day School, at Archbishop John Carroll High School.
Special guests included the Phillies Ballgirls, Phillies ambassadors Mickey Morandini, Dickie Noles, Milt Thompson and Scott Palmer, as well as the Phillie Phanatic.
This event was part of ‘Phillies Give Back’, a monthly employee volunteer program where members of the Phillies family team up with community nonprofits that provide valuable services to those in need.
