New school-based health center coming to Shreveport

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — The David Raines Community Health Center in Shreveport is inviting the public to the grand opening of its school-based health center.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place for the new center that will provide accessible, high-quality healthcare services to students. The ceremony will be held on Tuesday, May 13, at the Broadmoor STEM Academy, located at 441 Atlantic Ave. The event will go from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Everyone is invited to attend and learn more about the services offered.
