LiveU Buying Actus Digital’s Business & Tech

Actus Digital, a global provider of compliance logging, quality assurance, and AI-driven media insight, has signed a definitive agreement for its business and technology to be acquired by LiveU, which offers live IP-video contribution, production and distribution solutions. This strategic acquisition “will strengthen Actus Digital’s innovation roadmap and expand the long-term value delivered to customers worldwide,” the company says.

Since 2005, Actus Digital has installed over 1,300 intelligent monitoring systems for broadcasters, regulators, governments and intelligence agencies. The Actus Digital platform offers a blend of compliance logging, quality assurance and technical monitoring, content repurposing and AI-powered media analysis solutions.

“We are delighted to be welcoming Actus Digital to LiveU,” said Samuel Wasserman, LiveU CEO/co-founder. “Their exceptional platform and AI expertise perfectly complement our vision of delivering an end-to-end IP-video workflow. Together, we will provide a one-stop solution that brings even more value to our global customer base.”

“Both LiveU and Actus Digital are highly customer orientated,” said Sima Levy, Actus Digital president-founder. “We will continue to enhance our compliance and monitoring platform with the same innovation and customer focus that our customers trust. Many of our customers have requested a deeper integration between our complementary solutions, extending access to powerful insights into all their content feeds to the LiveU EcoSystem across broadcast, digital and more. I’m delighted that as part of LiveU, we will be able to deliver even more value for our customers.”

The LiveU EcoSystem provides modular IP-video based solutions that “improve efficiency and effectiveness throughout the value chain in contribution, production and distribution. The addition of Actus Digital to the EcoSystem brings seamless monitoring and AI-based analysis of all incoming feeds, ensuring the highest standards in content reliability and operational confidence,” the company says.

Levy adds: “Driven by our shared commitment to development and innovation, this marks a new chapter of growth that will help both Actus Digital and LiveU customers create even more value from video.”
