LPD worked with authorities from Vacaville, Dublin, Danville and Marin County to execute search warrants at three different residences. Lafayette detectives obtained a Ramey arrest warrant for counts of credit card fraud, identity theft and burglary.
Police said the suspect also entered two Lafayette schools and stole multiple credit cards, which happened sometime earlier in April.
The suspect, a 34-year-old Fairfield man, was arrested on Friday, police said. He was booked into Marin County Jail.
LPD did not further specify what was stolen. Police said “significant evidence and items believed to be linked to the ongoing investigations” were recovered.
The investigation remains ongoing as LPD asks anyone with information about this case to contact detectives at 925-283-3680 or 925-299-3234. Tips can be emailed to Lafayette police at 94549TIP@gmail.com.
