We’re tracking the potential for strong or severe thunderstorms later tonight and early Tuesday morning. It’s far from a done deal, but the potential still exists for a line of gusty thunderstorms, mainly after midnight.
Showers will exit the area Tuesday morning with partial sunshine, gusty winds and much cooler temperatures on tap. There will be no repeat of Monday’s 80s.
TUESDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy and much cooler with diminishing winds. Low: 44.

Looking Ahead
May looks to begin with light rain and highs in the mid- to low 60s on Thursday, which are pretty seasonal temps for the start of May.
Highs look to remain in the low 60s through Saturday, then we could see a bump back into the low 70s by Sunday in early forecast models for the weekend.
