EBRSO investigating shooting on S. Harrell’s Ferry Road that left man hurt

BATON ROUGE, La. (Louisiana First) — The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office responded just before 11 p.m. to a reported shooting in the 16000 block of S. Harrell’s Ferry Road on Monday, April 28.

A man said someone shot him while he was standing in a parking lot, according to EBRSO. Deputies said the man received injuries that are not considered life-threatening.

EMS confirmed that one person was taken to a hospital.

The investigation remains ongoing, and more information will be shared as it becomes available.
