Pitch your NOLA product to sell at the convention center

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Got a New Orleans idea? A product, that is.

Or maybe something from Louisiana.

WGNO Good Morning New Orleans features reporter Bill Wood has the place for your pitch.

And if your pitch is a homerun, your product could soon be on the shelf at Dutch’s Corner.

It’s a quick trip for almost a million convention center folks who pass through every year.

That’s the convenience store located inside the Earnest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans.

It’s the stage to get your stuff sold.

The deadline is Friday, May 2 and the contest will be Friday, May 23.

What are they looking for?

“Preferably New Orleans theme. Anything from candles, lapel pins, t-shirts, jackets. The list goes on,” said LaToya Martin from the Small and Emerging Business Program.

If you have an idea and want to pitch it, visit the website.
