Ogle County police arrest 32-year-old motorcyclist after high-speed chase

OREGON, Ill. (WTVO) — Frank Criscione, 32, of Oregon, was arrested Saturday after Ogle County police say he fled from police at 35 mph over the speed limit on his motorcycle, while drunk.

According to the Ogle County Sheriff’s Office, deputies spotted Criscione’s red motorcycle in the 4000 block of N. River Road and attempted to pull him over, but Criscione continued driving at a high rate of speed, causing them to terminate the pursuit for safety concerns.

Later, the motorcycle was found in the 800 block of Adams Street, where Criscione was taken into custody.

He now faces charges of Aggravated Fleeing to Elude, Fleeing to Elude, Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, and speeding.

He was released under the provisions of Illinois’ pretrial fairness act and given a notice to appear at a future court date.
