NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The City of New Orleans’ 311 call system is experiencing a service outage.
Jarrett Vise with the Orleans Parish Communication District sent out an alert Monday, April 28 that an issue with the phone service is impacting the public’s ability to dial 311.
NOLA 311 is a non-emergency line that serves as a primary source of local government information. Via 311, the public can make reports on abandoned vehicles, trash collection, property maintenance, roads and drainage and more.

The outage has not impacted 911 services, according to Vise.

Anyone in need of 311 services can call the backup number at 504-539-3266. The cause of the outage is not known.
