
JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The lockdown at Jim Hill High School has been lifted, according to JPS officials.
They said all students and staff are safe, and classroom instruction will continue for the remainder of the school day.
Officials said JPS police, Capitol police and Jackson police are continuing with their investigation.
JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jim Hill High School was temporarily placed on lockdown on Monday, April 28 due to an “external threat.”
During a lockdown, officials with the Jackson Public School District (JPS) said no students will be dismissed. They said all students and staff are safe inside their classrooms.
There are no injuries associated with this lockdown, despite some reports circulating on social media. We anticipate the lockdown will be lifted shortly and will provide more details once the investigation is complete.
