LA VERKIN, Utah (ABC4) — A house fire in La Verkin, Utah, caused around $200,000 damages Friday night, according to Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue.
Shortly before 8 p.m. on April 25, fire crews responded to a house fire in La Verkin that started on the exterior of the home and spread into the eaves and attic. Upon arrival, fire personnel began attacking the fire to contain and extinguish the blaze.
After the “main body” of the fire was knocked down, a post from Hurricane Valley Fire & Rescue states, firefighters were able to remove portions of the ceiling inside the home to gain access to the remaining hot spots.

Damages to the home are estimated at about $200,000. No injuries occurred in this incident, officials said.
“Ladder 41, Ladder 46, Engine 42, Medic 1011, Medic 431, and Battalion 43 responded to the incident, along with officers from the La Verkin City Police Department,” the post states. “We also appreciate Hildale/Colorado City Fire and Washington City Fire for their help as numerous incidents were occurring at the same time.”
