Investigation underway after body found in submerged car near Pontchartrain Park
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — An investigation is underway after a body was found in a submerged car near Pontchartrain Park in New Orleans on Monday, April 28.
According to the New Orleans Police Department, the incident is currently being classified as an unclassified death.
The car was reportedly found in the water near Press Drive. NOPD officials said they received the report around 10:45 a.m.

The Orleans Parish coroner will perform an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
