JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – For years, Edwards residents watched brown water pour from their faucets. Now, a major project aims to change that.
On Monday, April 28, the town broke ground on a new filtration system. The $2.5 million system will bring clean, clear water to Edwards.
The Delta Regional Authority provided the grant to fund the work. Construction crews expect to complete the project by December 2026.
