7-year-old drives car from Davis Co. to Ogden with 5-year-old passenger

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — A 7-year-old went for a drive with a 5-year-old passenger on Sunday morning, and both children went home unscathed, according to police.

The Ogden City Police Department confirmed with ABC4.com that the young child had driven from Davis County to Ogden, but the exact locations were not immediately shared.

Officials said the vehicle received minor damage, but there were no injuries reported to the children or any bystanders. The kids’ mother went to the scene to pick them up after the incident.

Officials said the drive occurred at around 8 a.m. on April 27. ABC4.com is working to learn more about the situation.
