Multiple Marin agencies collaborated to assist fallen hiker

(KRON) – Multiple Marin agencies collaborated to save a person who fell 30 feet off an undisclosed trail on Friday, according to Marin Sheriff’s Search and Rescue (SAR).

SAR, Marin County Fire, Ross Valley Fire, Marin Water District Rangers and California Highway Patrol worked together on the task.

Marin SAR requested a CHP helicopter to extricate the victim.

These rescues can be very complex and require responders from multiple agencies,” Marin SAR said on its social media. “This incident highlights the teamwork in Marin County of different agencies working seamlessly together. We are grateful for our partners in Marin!”
