Two visitation windows have been scheduled, one tonight from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and the other tomorrow from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Both services will be held at the Amalga LDS Church Ward Building, located at 6521 North 2400 West.
“If you know [Deserae], she had a pick-me farm that she ran with flowers… So I’m really excited to see all of the fun, probably floral arrangements that will be there for her,” family spokesperson Morgan Perkins said.
Funeral services will be held at the same building, beginning at 11:30 a.m. Following the funeral service, Deserae will be buried at the Smithfield Cemetery.
Perkins told ABC4 that the family is in mourning, but so grateful for the time they got together. They remember Deserae as someone who loved everyone around her.
“Des was a shining star, and we need more people like Des here. And that is something you know, that not only did she love everyone, but she loved anyone, and she was everybody’s friend,” Perkins said.
