McDermott is known for starring in “The Practice” and “FBI: Most Wanted.” He’s earned a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Television series – Drama, as well as a nomination for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.
He’s also known for his roles in “American Horror Story”, “1984”, “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit”, “Law & Order: Organized Crime”, “Dark Blue”, and the 1994 remake of “Miracle on 34th Street.”
“Dylan has starred in some of the most beloved crime and legal dramas of our time,” said Dan Farr, FanX Salt Lake Comic Convention founder and show producer. “Dylan doesn’t do a lot of fan conventions but has heard so many good things about FanX that he wanted to make this one of the limited number he does in 2025, and we are honored to welcome him and show him how great our fans in Utah are.”
Other stars announced this week include Dee Bradley Baker (“Adventure Time”, “Avatar the Last Airbender”, “Overwatch”), Soleil Moon Frye (“Punk Brewster”, “Sabrina the Teenage Witch”) and Christopher Sabat (“Dragonball”, Final Fantasy”, “One Piece”).
They join guests such as David Tennant (“Doctor Who”, “Harry Potter”), William Shatner (“Star Trek”), Doug Jones (“Hellboy”, “What We Do in the Shadows”), and Andrew McCarthy (“Pretty in Pink”, “St. Elmo’s Fire”).
FanX features guests from a range of fandoms, such as Marvel, Disney, DC, Star Wars, 90’s Sitcoms, Cartoons, and more. There will be opportunities to attend panels and take photos with some of your favorite celebrities. McDermott’s are listed for $85. He will also be available for autographs at Celebrity Row for $60.
