Jefferson Health, the PGA Tour Champions, and the Lehigh County Club today announced a five-year partnership to host the Jefferson Lehigh Valley Classic, which is set to debut on the PGA Tour Champions schedule in 2026.
The competition will be held annually at the Lehigh Country Club and will bring in an estimated $50 million boost to the local economy.
The first Jefferson Valley Classic will take place the week of September 28, 2026, and will feature 78 PGA Tour Champions players. The release said legends including Stewart Cink, Ernie Els, Padraig Harrington, Bernhard Langer, and more.
Tournament proceeds will go to local charities throughout the region, according to the release.
“We are thrilled to partner with Jefferson Health and bring PGA TOUR Champions golf to the Lehigh Valley,” said PGA TOUR Champions President Miller Brady. “Golf legends and World Golf Hall of Fame members will have an exceptional week of competition at a first-rate golf course in Lehigh Country Club. We’re excited to bring local golf enthusiasts an unforgettable experience and look forward to making a lasting, positive impact on the community for years to come.”
The Jefferson Lehigh Valley Classic will be televised on the GOLF Channel, with coverage available in over 170 countries.
The PGA Tour Champions features professional golfers ages 50 and older, according to GolfLink.
