Food Bank of South Jersey receives donation from Dunkin’

PENNSAUKEN TOWNSHIP, N.J. (WPHL) — The Food Bank of South Jersey received a $54,530 donation from Dunkin’ of Greater Philadelphia on Wednesday.

The donation is from Dunkin’s Roast Hunger program. For every large hot coffee bought by reward members in the Delaware Valley, franchises donated one dollar to help support local food bank partners, including the Food Bank of South Jersey. The program’s partners also include Philabundance, Food Bank of Delaware, Helping Harvest,

Second Harvest Food Bank of Lehigh Valley and Northeast Pennsylvania, and Community FoodBank of New Jersey.

This year, Dunkin’ raised $300,000 for food bank partners in Greater Philadelphia.

Local Dunkin’ franchisees and team members also volunteered at the Food Bank of South Jersey to pack food boxes on Wednesday. Food bank staff and volunteers got some tasty treats, with Dunkin’ providing coffee and donuts throughout the morning.
