ROBERT, La. (WGNO) — Five people have been booked following the investigation of a shooting that occurred in Robert on March 25.

According to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office, the shooting happened in the Gemstone Place subdivision off of Highway 445 when a silver sedan pulled up around 12:30 a.m. and more than 20 rounds were reportedly fired from it, hitting an occupied home and a vehicle.

The Jeanerette Police Department later found the vehicle with shell casings inside matching the ones from the Robert incident.

Jaylon Turner was arrested in Jeanerette. Perkins was arrested with his girlfriend, 18-year-old Brianna Hudson, charged with obstruction of justice. McGee was arrested during a traffic stop in Hammond, and Larry Turner Jr. was rebooked in connection with the shooting.
