Pilar García will now join the other seven Latina beauty brands CEOs at Ulta Beauty with her curly hair line, Productos LATINA. The launch will be celebrated at a public event at the Ulta Beauty store in Fresno’s Fashion Fair on Friday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
García grew up in Morelos, Mexico, and later moved to Clovis.
According to her website, Productos LATINA was born when García rediscovered herself and learned to love her hair following a childhood in which she felt she did not fit society’s beauty standards.
After reading many books, taking classes and learning as much as she could about curly hair, Productos LATINA saw the light on Oct. 24, 2020, inspired by Latina women. Now, García is preparing to take the next step, launching her line of products at almost 500 Ulta Beauty stores across the United States – one of which includes the Ulta Beauty store at Fresno’s Fashion Fair.
Ulta Beauty in Fresno is located at 639 E. Shaw Avenue, STE 179, in Fresno.
