The event, hosted by Pack Walk SF, begins at 5:30 p.m., and the walk starts at 6 p.m. The meeting point will be at 1177 Market St. where the group plans to leave the Trinity Place courtyard.
The walk will start on 8th Street and Market and go on until 2nd Street. It will be a total of two miles round-trip. Those who decide to stop halfway can attend the dog-friendly Downtown First Thursday Street Party on 2nd Street. That street party is expected to be from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.
It is not required to RSVP for the event, but the first 50 who do are eligible for a $50 Chewy gift card. You can RSVP here.
Pack Walk SF says this is a once-a-month event, led by dog trainers and community ambassadors. Event organizers plan to have this walk on the first Thursday of every month until October.
“The Pack Walk is a great way to get exercise for yourself and your pet, alongside neighbors,
trainers and guides who share a love of dogs,” Mid Market CBD Executive Director Tracy
Everwine said in a press release. “It’s hard to tell who’s happier, the dogs or the owners.”
