14-year-old shot on South Side

CHICAGO — A 14-year-old boy was shot early Friday morning on the South Side.

A 14-year-old boy was walking in the 6700 block of South Justine at around 4:20 a.m.

The boy heard shots coming from an unknown direction and realized he was shot in the right hip.

He was dropped off at St. Bernard Hospital before being transported to Comer Children’s Hospital in fair condition.

No one is in custody. Anyone with information can leave a tip at cpdtip.com.
