Woman and her dog rescued from water near Exploratorium Thursday morning
(KRON) — A woman and her dog were rescued from the water of the Bay near the Exploratorium in San Francisco Thursday morning, KRON4 has confirmed. The San Francisco Fire Department said it got a call at 7:59 a.m. regarding a woman and her dog in the water at 700 Embarcadero North — behind the Exploratorium. Photo: KRON4
SFFD personnel responded. Two rescue swimmers got the woman and her dog onto a boat by around 8:11 a.m. She was conscious and safe, officials said.
It is unclear how the woman and the dog wound up in the Bay.
