Indianapolis Metropolitan police were dispatched just after 10:40 p.m. to the 2300 block of Post Road where they found a man who’d been shot in a parking lot.
The man was taken to an area hospital. Police didn’t disclose the extent of his injuries.
According to IMPD’s incident report, investigators recovered seven spent .40-caliber casings at the scene along with bloody clothing.
The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
