Man accused of filming women inside Louisville dressing rooms

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (FOX 56) — An Elizabethtown man has been accused of taking photos of women inside Mall St. Matthews dressing rooms.

Around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, officers with the St. Matthews Police Department (SMPD) were dispatched to Old Navy in response to a caller who said a man was taking pictures of women “over the wall” of the dressing room, per a citation.

Hearing the caller’s description, law enforcement was reportedly able to recognize the man. This description sounded familiar to officers, who were told about a man also taking photos of women on Monday inside Forever 21 at Mall St. Matthews.

Officers arrived on the scene and were directed to the women’s dressing room area as Yogi Wilson, 30, was leaving.

Court documents indicate that Wilson was taken to the SMPD station, where he allegedly admitted to taking photos of “at least” five women on Tuesday and recording at least one girl in Forever 21 the day before. Law enforcement said that the victim in Forever 21 was 13 years old.

Wilson was lodged in the Louisville Metro Detention Center on Tuesday and charged with six counts of video voyeurism.

According to arrest records, Wilson was arrested in July 2015 and charged with voyeurism when police allegedly saw him peering into the window of an occupied home.
