SHENANDOAH – A Freeland man is in Schuylkill County Prison, accused of selling drugs to an informant.
Andy Rosario, 28, of Walnut Street, was arraigned Wednesday on multiple felony charges of possession with intent to deliver among other charges.
According to the criminal complaint filed by Trooper Scott Grochowski of the Pennsylvania State Police at Det. Troy Greenawald of the Schuylkill County District Attorney’s Office, Rosario agreed to sell methamphetamine and fentanyl to a confidential informant in Shenandoah in February.
The purchase was set up for Feb. 21 as law enforcement monitored.
Afterward, the supposed methamphetamine and fentanyl was sent to a lab to be tested. The supposed methamphetamine did not contain any controlled substances, though the supposed fentanyl came back as cocaine and xylazine.
He was arraigned and committed to Schuylkill County Prison, unable to post $75,000 bail.
