SCOTT, La. (KLFY) — A fire in a Scott apartment caused moderate damage to a second-story bedroom.

Earlier this evening fire officials responded to a structure fire at the Ile des Cannes Apartment Complex, located in the 100 block of Natchez Street. When they arrived, officials observed smoke emitting from a second-story apartment.

Officials said when they entered the apartment, they found the fire in a second-story bedroom. Officials quickly put out the fire before it could spread throughout the apartment.
