Jamirion Thomas, 19, of Crowley in charged with three counts of attempted second degree murder and one count each of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, simple escape and possession of marijuana.
Thomas was arrested Wednesday morning in connection with an indicent on March 31 in the area of the 500 block of N. Avenue A.
According to police, Thomas was asked to accompany a female subject to a location where she intended to confront another female subject. During a verbal altercation, Thomas allegedly fired upon the other female, along with two other people present.
The targeted victim was shot four times, sustaining serious injuries, but has since been released from the hospital, officials said.
Crowley Police Chief Troy Hebert said Thomas was previously arrested and charged with attempted homicide, to which he pled guilty to a lesser charge and was released.
Bond details were not released.
