On April 17, deputies arrested James Lee Richardson, 45, of Rosepine, on two outstanding bench warrants. Bond has not been set, and Richardson remains in the Vernon Parish Jail.
On April 20, Donald Louis Maricle, 59, of Pitkin, was taken into custody and charged with one count of domestic abuse battery. His bond was set at $5,000, which he posted before being released.
On April 22, Rocky Channing Bloodsworth, 32, of Pitkin, was arrested and faces multiple charges including one count of simple battery, one count of aggravated assault, two counts of criminal damage to property, one count of resisting a police officer with force or violence – simple assault, and one count of criminal trespass. His bond was set at $11,638, and he remains in jail.
Also on April 22, Brian Lee Hayes, 56, of Leesville, was arrested and charged with one count of turning movements and required signals and one count of possession of a Schedule II narcotic. Bond has not yet been set, and Hayes remains in custody at the Vernon Parish Jail.
All cases remain under investigation.
