Third suspect arrested in connection to a Crowley shooting

CROWLEY, La. (KLFY) — Earlier today, police arrested a third suspect in connection with a shooting that occurred in the 900 block of S Ave D in Crowley on Feb. 24, authorities said.

Donaldo Jose Hernandez was arrested and charged for three counts of attempted murder, authorities said.

Police said Hernandez was involved in the shooting after an alleged conflict between him and a south Crowley resident. During the investigation, Hernandez was allegedly accompanied by two additional suspects.

During the investigation, police reported that allegedly the shooting targeted a single individual but three people were present in the home that was shot multiple times during a drive by.

Police said after Hernandez’s arrest, they have now apprehended all three suspects in connection shooting.
