Special tour of Americans and the Holocaust to be held by Baxter County Historical Society

The Baxter County Historical Society is taking advantage of a rare opportunity at the Donald W. Reynolds Library Serving Baxter County as they invite their members and the public to attend a special tour of the Americans and the Holocaust Exhibit before their regular monthly meeting Tuesday evening.

Currently, there are only 50 sites scheduled throughout the United States to host the exhibit. A rigorous grant application process allowed the Donald W. Reynolds Library to not only be one of the 50 exhibits schedules, but also the only one in Arkansas.

The exhibit addresses American reaction and public opinion to the Holocaust during the years leading up to World War II. Sonny Sharp says the tour will have a large focus on media coverage of the events.
