LOVES PARK, Ill. (WTVO) — Loves Park Police arrested Douglas Meyer, 31, for kidnapping, among other charges, on April 22nd.

Around 3 p.m., officers were called to the 4900 block of Pine Meadow Parkway for reports of an unwanted man inside the victims’ residence. One victim told authorities that Meyer identified himself as a DEA agent.

The suspect proceeded into the woman’s residence even though she told him not to after he grabbed her by the neck, according to court records.

Another woman inside the residence at the time told officials that Meyer went into a room where three children were and grabbed one of them. She pushed him, causing him to let go of the child, court records show.

Meyer told officials he was looking for his girlfriend, “Megan Fox.” He continued to say something told him he needed to remove the children from the victim.

Meyer is charged with kidnapping by force or threat, battery causing physical contact and criminal trespassing to a person’s residence.
