Jen Speakes to lead Oregon junior and high schools as new principal

OREGON, Ill. (WTVO) — The Oregon Junior and High schools will have a new principal this summer.

Jen Speakes, of Mount Morris, will take the position.

Her past experience includes teaching at Belvidere and Jefferson high schools, as well as serving as principal at Meridian Junior High School in Stillman Valley, under former superintendent PJ Caposey, who now serves as the Oregon School District superintendent.

Caposey said Speakes is “exactly the right fit” for the schools.
