Officers responded to the incident at a facility located in the 5300 Block of NE Prescott Street and arrested 66-year-old Reynaldo Silva, who was later indicted on second-degree assault charges by a Multnomah County jury.
The death of the victim, Galen Pixler, was ruled a homicide due to delayed complications from the assault, authorities said.
Due to Pixler’s death, police say Silva may be facing additional charges.
